Appleachia

Appleachia (Apple-A-Shuh) is the newest flavor from DrinkAlchemy, and the one with the biggest story behind the name.

Founder Anthony Flask has grown fond of the Appalachian Mountains for a very specific reason. His whole life, his mother Brenda would talk about her dream of hiking the Appalachian Trial, starting in Georgia and finishing at the peak of Katahdin in Maine.

Every summer, every hike - the Appalachian Trail was always a front and center topic.

But life has a funny way of testing us all. Forced into retirement early because of injury, plans to hike the trail became more of a dream than anything else. Each year that passes ages us all, and time is not kind to adventure seekers.

Appleachia is a constant reminder that life is right now. Waiting for the right amount of vacation days, better fitness, better finances, family or friends has a way of making a decision for us. Procrastination, excuses, and even fear can hold us back from doing what our heart has been calling us to do.

The difference between living and dreaming is action. Appleachia is a constant reminder to take action.

Upon release, for every case sold, Anthony will hike a mile in honor of the name.

Flavor: Black Diamond/Obsidian Apple is a very special apple grown only in Tibet. It’s black flesh is the result of the climate, and makes it universally appealing. We chose Obsidian Apple as our base flavor to differentiate from mainstream “green apple” flavors, which resemble candy more than anything.

Paired with the delicious Jack Fruit and Natural Green Tea, Appleachia is DrinkAlchemy’s rendition of how “apple should be”.

Illuminade

Illuminade was made the official name of DrinkAlchemy’s second flavor after lengthy discussions on how to follow up the brands pilot flavor, Nootropical.

Given the brands ability to blend nootropics in a delicious and potent fashion and “illuminate” a drinker’s mind, incorporating the verb was as simple as changing the flavor profile ;)

Originally planned to be an “earthy botanical” by Chief of Research JC Bird, DrinkAlchemy shifted from a Dragon Fruit + Hibiscus profile to a Raspberry + Hibiscus + Lemonade, adopting the “-ade” for the products official name.

Subtlety is DrinkAlchemy’s M.O. and Illuminade delivers to a customer’s mature taste palette. The brand stands by its mission to deliver a better beverage experience and refrains from filling their cans with artificial sweeteners and flavors.

Expect a naturally sweetened and lightly carbonated sipping experience; perfect to start your day or enjoy as a mocktail for social settings.

Nootropical
